Re: Tism film clip featuring St Kilda FC

This question pops up every couple of months I reckon.

1. Justin Peckett
2. Chris Hemley
3. One of the Wakelins
4. Josh Kitchen

Re: Kosi and family- article

Fair point. I remember a commentator once saying the rough pass mark for a top 10 draft pick is to receive at least one All Australian selection in their career. I tend to agree and going by that criteria and a few others, then maybe Kosi hasn't lived up to realistic expectations.

I know he's Carlton and that means we're supposed to hate him. But maybe he does have a point. Personally I think the CEO and the board have to be held to account for such a significant financial loss and it's a bit of a cop out to blame it on the stadium deal. There's no doubting the Seaford move w...

Well there's one major difference between Lyon and Beane.

Is driving to Casey Fields really any better???
They only go out there once a week if that. Most of their work is done at AAMI Park.

Sportsnewsfirst has a good record and is fast rising in the credibility stakes. It has close links to Connors management, which I think partly funds it. Now I know Lyon isn't a Connors client but managers have their fingers more closely on the pulse than most others in the industry (journos include...

Are they also aware that most of the working population quite often spend at least nine hours straight at their place of work, five times a week for a fraction of what AFL players are paid?

Great stuff. I remember the Melbourne game fondly. Things you don't see on the highlight reel was Russell Morris getting knocked out, thinking he's OK then coming in for a set shot and collapsing. Also Darren Davies broke his leg on the outer wing in his first game since crossing from the Dogs. Anot...

I'm also in the no camp but can see your points. One thing overlooked is whether he'd be the personality type we'd want. From what I understand he is quite a divisive figure among Port Adelaide players and one of those people commentators are always alluding to when they talk about culture problems ...

My fondest memory of Allan has nothing to do with football. He was delivering the eulogy at a funeral for a young man who had committed suicide. He used that moment to reach out to all the young people in the room about the need to speak to someone and to get help if they are feeling down and that i...

Thinline, in fairness I have looked at the '05 and '06 drafts with the benefit of five and six years hindsight. Give Gold Coast half a decade and maybe we'll be better equipped to judge their first-rounders.

Some say his record speaks for itself... Here's a few things to consider: - Drafting Mitch Thorp with pick six in 2006 when Joel Selwood went at seven. - Using pick three and six in the 2005 draft to get Xavier Ellis and Beau Dowler. Josh Kennedy and Scott Pendlebury went in the two picks after Elli...

Can't remember when a young Saints player has looked so good in his second game.. Luke Donald http://stats.rleague.com/afl/stats/games/1990/061519900818.html From looking at those stats, all our young players did well that day. Cummings, Dipetta, Donald and Sexton all had an influence. Point should...

Sheahan really had it in for St Kilda and Plugger (the real Plugger, that is) in the early 1990s. His constant efforts to portray Lockett as the devil incarnate might have been one of the reasons the big man chose to flee to Sydney. I'll never forget one article where Sheahan claimed Lockett repres...

I saw in Inside Footy there is a copy of the book going under the hammer at Charles Leski auctions on March 30.
