Yep, doing ok in ruck work, not much around the ground. Like the look of Ferguson, super quick and tall, has a real go. Walsh and lynch have both been great. Dean Polo brought us back into the game in the second quarter
Polo is doing what we need in the ones....

Sandy playing alot better. Now in front by a point. Polo lead the way with heaps of it and his disposals have been pretty good. Stanley holding his own and archer doing well around the grounds. Goal of the year in this quarter. Heyne has kicked a goal but does not work hard enough. Winmar in and out. Walsh and simpkin very good when the game was against them.walsh spending a little time forward and looks lost down there.

Curran looks very good and is it androlli? Who has very good pace and skills in his first senior game. Ledger getting a little bit.

As i write willy kicks a couple and lead by two. Poor mistakes after a good quarter.

I'm in QLD and have no vision but from bigfooty:

"Andreoli is a stick insect. Good with, doesnt spend enough time with.

Missed what happened to Fergy.

Lynch has been very good. Plays like Fisher.

Stanley looks much better than last VFL TV game.

Polo excellent. "

"Not to mention Daniel Archer, who I thought well held his own against Lake.

Good to see Polo slotting the first goal of that quarter. "

"Jeez, did anyone else just see that Dan Archer goal? Amazing! "

Winning clearances, breaking the lines and actually hitting targets.

Archer had his own GOTY contender.

Curran kicked a nice goal then brought down Lake with a great tackle.

Walsh looks solid as always.

some really good signs. stanley polo lynch and archer really important players. seems like lynch has found his place as a tall running half back.

polo could really be a huge positive with lenny gone.

Willy by 3 goals at halftime
Sandy much better that quarter, Curren done some nice things, Lynch been very good, 14 touches 7 marks.
Archer looks verrrrry slow even by vfl standards. Walsh looks like he could bench press a house
God the commentators are annoying, constantly talking about incidents long gone. Phil Cleary is just annoying imo.

They're a class above.

Simpkin And Walsh have been smashed by Hahn and Lake respectively.

Djekkura awesome for gulls.

Polo wants to play next week.

That's a few or more solid weeks from Lynch down back. Surely he is next in line to fill a half back position.

A few more games for Sandy like this and he could be a bonus for the saints

Rhys Stanley grabs the ball, uses his pace break clear, then handpasses sideways 2m, completly missing whatever target he saw.
Is that saints conditioning...never try and break a line??

Lynch - played well; well composed. Not far away best player for mine. 20+ disposals with high efficiency
Stanley - battled hard and probably won out on the day against Roughead - Simpkin-strong and competes very hard. Did his job
Ledger - got better as game went on. In and under runs hard. A few weeks off as showed signs fitness not there yet
Curren - showed plenty. Good both sides, courage and knows where to run. Lots of potential. Only played a half
Walsh - battles hard, got beaten one out a couple of times by Lake.
Heyne - not up to it. Kicks points flashes in and out
Ferguson - wirey kid but that doesn't stop attack on ball. Played quite well after taking a few knocks
Archer - 2nd best player for mine. Attacked contest kicked a couple and ran about like a ruck rover. Improved from 2nds last year
Winmar - ok. I am not sure he is ready yet. Didn't do enough with around 10 possessions.

we should have got djekurra instead of gamble.

our list has enough slow blokes on it.

the djerk would have been a nice addition for a late pick.

Without talking him up, and without making any grand statements etc, it must be said that Polo showed a bit.
