Cowboy Neale is now 66 and a lot of his teammates are a bit proppy so that is hardly a surprise.dragit wrote:Probably no relevance at all, our 66 premiership team would probably be spanked by Port.
19pts............misleading?

Johnny-come-lately on this thread, but, Collingwood couldn't run out the game against us, for whatever reason. I've discussed with a few footy mates and am not convinced Collingwood would ever take the foot off against a contender.
The biggest area of difference was our disposal off the half back versus theirs...they were pin-point, we were wobbly (3 out of bounds from the back pocket too?). Other than a few posters in front of goal, we were pretty even.
The team would have come out of that game far more encouraged than the Pies IMO, despite the loss.

Actually thought it was a game we could have won with some better and accurate disposal.
While Gilbert's disposal wasn't good, it was good that he actually got the ball and tried to run with it.
Also thought we exposed a weakness in their press by moving the ball quickly out of defence and getting in behind their defence, it really opened them up a couple of times.
Also think we need to take more chances, ie when Joey went backwards from the wing in the 1st qtr, which enede up costing us a goal, when he should have put the ball up into the 50 where we we're one on one and see if Kosi or Roo could grab a big mark, or creat a spillage for Milney or Scneids to run onto.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.
