This is great!

At the end of the first quarter, I looked up at the screen and saw that the saints score was 35. I turned to hubby and said, hmmm....wonder if that is a sign :D

Couldn't we have a light arvo/night training session?

In may be in practical, old fashioned, inconvienient..... But how good would it be if teams in the finals series had a light PM training session to give a chance for US the supporters to get down there and support! I am sure it is the case for most of us, but it is hard to get down to day training b...

They said if Kosi could have a run of good matches in the finals, that could be the key. Talked about Milne's effort, and how he has turned he's season around since his injury....that he is even still playing with the fractured cheekbone. Showed a form ladder from the last 6 (?) weeks which had us p...

I believe the turnaround has been due largely to the wider football community embracing Milne since he's heroics in WA. It's the first time that a little bit of R.E.S.P.E.C.T (outside of the Saints supporter base of course) has headed his way. Does a lot for one's self esteem....maybe Milne needs to...

Well, I was also at training on Wednesday and was interested to have a look at Kosi and what he was up too... He was not on the field straight away, but neither were alot of other players who are known to be carrying injuries. He did a few laps with his knee heavily strapped, before participating in...

Todays Training

Also headed down to training today...arrived early and saw quite a few of the players already out on the ground for a kick and there was a good level of enthusiasm around the place. Max and Harvey ran laps for awhile, then Harvey signed so many autographs and he must have been with the fans for at l...

Do we peform better when there is very little expectation?

Then perhaps we have a chance this week against Freo.... This may seem a little obvious, but I think we have a tendency to win when we are not expected to, and Fremantle have a habit of losing when they really shouldn't So based on this theory, Saints by 23 PS - I have a feeling Milne may fire and k...

Hello, I am new here!

Hi, I am new here. I was born into a St Kilda household, and have been following the Saints as long as I can remember. I will do my best to contribute measured, non-emotive, sensible posts...but in saying that you can all surely understand that often we have cause to let all commonsense fly out the ...
