Who's the better player?
Personally, I think BJ is superior, although Chapman's CV with the premierships puts BJ in the shade, which is always a major sticking point.

Re: Carlisle "scandal"
I wouldn't call Chris Judd a person of poor character. To question the character of everyone that has ever used drugs is about as simplistic as it gets. In saying that, Jake's obviously not the brightest guy, but I'm confident theres a good young man beneath his wayward exterior that can match his t...

Re: Pick 14
Best player available Do a list of 14 players (minus Mills and Hopper) and the highest player not taken by the time pick 14 is called out... From that group would be the player to choose. Would love Darcy Tucker to fall to us... As I rate him at 7 and he's slipped in estimates... But I think 11/12 ...

Re: Next years free agents
Pretty uninspiring lot to choose from. Seeing as FA's they'll generally be offered overs to switch over, none of those players are worth pushing salary cap space for. We need a Dustin Martin type, who would be eligible the following year, notwithstanding contract restrictions. In saying that, aside ...

Re: Second video..
The Cats have/had plenty of dickheads on their list. Led by their coach, who puts Carlisle in the shade.
It's just that those Cat dickheads were excellent at football.
No dickheads policy and 'culture' is the biggest myth in our game.

I really think next years membership pack should include a box of adult nappies, judging by the amount of supporters that are shitting themselves over this non-event. Want a bunch of self righteous soft cocks. It is pretty much done with already. Run its race. Finished, nothing to see here. He stuff...

Re: Carlisle "scandal"
Could not care less about Carlisle doing what he did. I care about the fact we've been stitched up by Essendon, not so much on the trade front but the timing of the video coming out. It is 100%, unequivocally, without question a string pulled somewhere by the EFC. They are behind this and are dumpin...

How much will Dildo be pissing himself. He probably sent in the footage. They prob bought it up then dropped it when they needed it. It's Lovett all over again. never trade with Essendon. We get done every time. Dildo won in every possible way. He won't play a game for us again. we will be forced t...

You guys catch the Current Affair promo?? Looks like they've caught Jake Carlisle smoking weed in Amsterdam. Honestly, don't think it's a huge deal but pretty pissed they chose today to air it. How tragic that Dane Swan's pub burnt down. I wonder why? Maybe that can be an ACA story? Ch.9. My mistake. Yep, Carlisle smoking a joint overseas is a scandal. Meanwhile 2 Hawks being investigated for sexual assault. Hodge drinks drives, but is a good bloke so good on him for being able to have a b...

Do not want.
If the deal involves Melbourne and the Toump, just cut Port out of it and deal with Melbourne direct to get Toump in red white and black.
He'd be a far better acquisition than this Young fellow.

Re: Cripps & our rejects who had the last laugh
Done very well for a bloke with no draft photo.
On a serious note, Cripps was always going to make it. A very dangerous player from day one. Big loss for us.

Re: Nat Fyfe I hate you... Or is that you Ross?
Fyfe was a skinny half forward who couldn't hit the side of the barn during his draft year. I had never heard of him at the time but I remember Nick Winmar saying to me he was the best player he had ever seen and was one of the best marks you could see. He also said Mitch Marsh was a freak of a foo...

Re: Nat Fyfe I hate you... Or is that you Ross?
Just compare that to Melbourne, who had 4 picks in the top 20 all ahead of Fyfe. Scully, Trengove, Gysberts and Tapscott. All gone except Trengove who's unlikely to ever make it back onto the park. All this the year after they drafted Watts at pick 1. We're merely a bad dream compared to their night...

We have no need for him in season 2016, and I'd be very surpirsed and disappointed if he demanded a first 22 spot next year. Would be a disaster in fact as it would mean none of our youngsters had improved in the off season. Been a good solid player for the Saints, it's the right time now to part wa...

Re: Why not Dangerfield?
The Age is reporting the possibility of Dangerfield nominating for the draft.... So in the spirit of off season hypotheticals, we haven't traded out Pick 5, Dangerfield has nominated in the draft and put a $3.6M over 4 years price on his head, and picks 1 through 4 have taken kids, do you pick him ...

SEN also said Jimmy Toumpas may be moving. I reckon he goes alright. Been on the Toumpas bandwagon since the start. Haven't had a golden Greek since Traianidis. Solid history up to that point. But in all seriousness, I think Toump can play, needs a good environment. Should cost a bag of chips. Melh...

Re: Trade Rumours
Geary and our 2nd rounder to Essendon for Carlisle. We have a plethora of small backs, all of which are better kicks than Geary, and are likely to be adding at least 1 more in Rice come draft time. A good opportunity to transition Geary out of the side as we regenerate. Essendon need some experience...

I don't want Jake Carlisle to play for the Saints, look at his hideous tattoo.! Re: Jake Carlisle
We could take a calculated risk and trade our first round pick for next year. This would require a lot of confidence by the club that we will not drop off next year and, best possible scenario, if we pull of a Bulldogs we will be rejoicing. I'm not sure that our ladder position is that safe though....
