O'Meara is done.
Even back on the field just one knee plant into the ground from redoing the injury.
No player comes back from patella injuries in AFL.

One of the few times I have been right on a player.
Just to even it up, always thought Seb Ross would not make it. I am as happy as BM to say he has proven me wrong

Re: Petracca
I wasn't really listening but on one of the footy shows, Watason on talking footy footy i think, he said that someone, i missed who, said Petracca was the best footballer, bar none, he had ever seen. Not very helpful of me, i know, but the comment was made. Hope the guy is dead wrong or it will be ...

When your team is crap like ours is presently you become vindictive in your pleasure of other teams misfortune.
Richmond being crap
Freo being worse
Essendon destroyed
Essendon beating Melbourne
Port being crap
All makes our tawdry results a bit less unpalatable

Re: Richo to thank for Port's decline
Phil Walsh took over AR's role at Port when AR went to the Saints and they were still a good team, once Port lost Walsh to Adelaide, and they effectively replaced Walsh with Voss, they turned to Shite very quickly. It probably means Hinkley is a dud. Voss is already a proven dud coach. Why do we co...

Re: VFL Rd 3 Sandringham Vs Footscray Sat 23rd- Streamed
Some really good signs. That was a really high pressure match with no easy ball but Eli, White, Rice, Mckenzie, Goddard, Gresham all looked really good - getting lots of the footy. Some of the fringe players like Shenton, Murdoch ,Membrey and Holmies were really good as well. Wright was disappointi...

Re: Umpire Andrew Stephens a Hawks Fan?
Former Umpire Derek Humpty Dumpty declared this morning on SEN that the umpire was not a Hawks supporter and that the photograph on his social media site was merely one of his 'first game at the MCG'. So his first game was the 2012 Grand Final. Impressive Has anyone pulled them up on this in the me...

Hurrah for common sense.saintspremiers wrote:We are playing high risk high return footy.
Turnovers will be high until the boys get fully into the groove of it, which may take a year.
Alternatively we could go chip lotto Toss Lyin style with minimal turnovers and shytefully boring footy.

Re: Hugh Goddard
I think his speed and agility is a problem. He's big and heavy (seduced many) but lumbers around a bit in the VFL. He goes OK and has plenty of time, but is not the massive bargain he was thought to be... The ridicule Boekhurst got for being taken before him was interesting... He's playing AFL now,...

Seems Geary has become Saintsational's number 1 whipping boy for 2016. Perhaps the people accusing him of list clogging are forgetting how much experience and toughness he brings to the team. I am forgetting nothing. He is is a good player. That is the problem. Thanks too for all of my fellow Saint...
