Last five minutes of the game, just watched Robert.

Didn't take my eyes off him.

What a privilege it was to see him play.

Many of The Age writers have the Hawks winning by about one goal.

You could have everyone on the planet tipping the Hawks by one point but they'd all have to admit that we're a chance

In all seriousness, let's keep a lid on it.

Let the Hawks supporters on SEN monopolise the hubris.

I was 12. My first St Kilda game, after emigrating in 1965. Like the Jiggster I was still celebrating Everton's first FA Cup win in 33 years, and England's World Cup win. I was standing behind the goal at the city end. Thought it was really weird when everyone sat down on the terracing during the b...

Kevin Roberts 23.

I think Steve Roberts might have been 30, but can't swear to it.

On a similar note, it's interesting how many fans of other clubs are going on SEN talkback complaining that we are not good enough to be in the top 4.

We finished in the top 4, have now confimed our place in the prelim, so how else are we supposed to demonstrate that we are worthy of the position?

Last time we played them, we had far more of the ball, even in the first quarter when we were a long way behind. Hawthorn's goals were coming from counter attacks when we stuffed up delivery through the midfield. We got on top eventually simply by using the ball more effectively, not by winning it m...

Fode was a very handy forward who we insisted in playing at half back.

He didn't have a chance to consolidate as a forward.

This is not wise after the event.

A number of us were stunned by Birss' omission.

He's clearly the best of the fringe players.

We don't have the luxury at the bottom end of finessing with tactical selections. Just play him every time.
