In 1996 we gave #4 to Joel Smith afer Plugger left, so if and only if, our first round pick showed exceptional promise pre-season..perhaps Id consider it..but he'd have to be one out of the box Plugger left in very different circumstances to Burke, Loewe, Harvey and Thompson. As I recall, Smith wor...

I got distracted when it finally came on.

But he mentioned Carroll was training with us as well as Niall McKeever (I think he called him Noel) and Sam Iles from Collingwood who I know nothing about.

It would be a great membership drive to pick Cousins at 13.

People would buy memberships just so they could tear them up :D

(Little bit difficult with the plastic though)

If this is true, then how bad is that? Take a smokie / project player at pick 27 when there was still a lot of recognised talent around, re-sign him in the second year to a two year contract despite no evidence of him playing decent football, and then delist him. I am usually very positive about the...

Just grow up kiddies, there is more to life than despairing about Robert Harvey gaining coaching experience at Carlton. They have won a few more premierships than us after all . What does that mean? You sound like one of those morons on Bigfooty who trots out ancient statistics whenever there is a ...

Mark Dwyer was a sensation when he started with Fitzroy in 1986. Played the last 8 games of the season and scored 10 Brownlow votes.

As stated above only played two games in '87 and came to us in '88 for that one game.

McMillan yes,
Freeman no.

One more player made their St.Kilda debut between round 15 and round 19, and Freeman played more than one game for the Saints.

No, but you can use a reference.

Sounds like you're on to it.

Round 19 1988, Robert Harvey and Brett Bowey both debut for the Saints.

Between them they played 468 games.

Name the last player to debut before these two and the first player to debut after them.

Between them they played 2 games.

Kft23 you are right about the 4's at the Junction way way way back when. I found 3 of them. But the best at Moorabbin was 4 in 1970. Here's the list ... Junction Oval 4 - 1897 R5-R8 - 1899 R5-R8 - 1900 SR2-SR3 (Section pre finals rounds) to 1901 R1-R2 Moorabbin 4 - 1970 R4-R7 Waverley Park 5 - 1993...

I couldn't find any more than 3 at Moorabbin.

And we played 4 quite a few times at the Junction Oval between 1897 and 1923 but people would think I was a freak if I wrote that.

If you feel passionate enough about the issue, write to Archie. People have no problems in making suggestions to Archie regarding merchandising, marketing etc. but your want to make a stand on a football issue and people jump down your throat.

Love it, especially the $3. Shows the smallest donation still counts. Good work to those who organised this. :D Nice to think the extra $3 came from some little kid or poor student raiding their piggy bank but I think it is more likely that it came from some freak who donated $23 in honour of Kosi....

They knocked us out in '39 but since then we have knocked them out five times.

65, 66, 72, 92 and 08.

They beat us once in that time, the second semi in '66 but obviously that wasn't a knockout game.

You guys need to sort out the difference between having a biased opinion and being a d1ck.

I also said Harvs would have a biased opinion about Aaron Fiora. Am I calling Harvs a d1ck?
