Re: Caleb Daniel

His lack of height would no doubt put a lot of teams off, including us. Having said that, there's no way we would take him with our #1 pick and I doubt we would take him with our #2 pick either, but if he's still available when our 3rd pick comes around, I wouldn't hesitate in taking him.....I would...

Very sad to hear of Robbie's passing. One of my favorite players to watch back in his days.

Re: We've reached rock bottom

To me rock bottom is when we get the wooden spoon.....hopefully this will be the last time we get it for a while. If we can keep recruiting well from here on in, and as long as we can stay competitive, the days of getting wooden spoons and hitting rock bottom again will be long gone, well at least u...

Re: Player signing #18 Tom Lee - 2016

Looking forward to seeing him play next season injury free. Tommy is good in the air, can crash a pack and is a reasonably good kick, so if he can manage to get himself fitter, I'm sure he'll become a valuable player for us next year.

Re: Shenton - todays futurefest signing

Whilst I like Shenton and the way he goes about it, I'm not sure he'll become a long term player for us. With the club only giving him a one year contract suggests to me that the Saints aren't sure either. Needs to step up and have a good season next year to get his contract extended beyond 2015 imo.

Re: Signing #14 Brodie Murdoch till 2016

Thought Siposs was probably one of the longest kicks of the footy that I've seen in recent times until I saw this bloke kick.

Really happy for Brodie, hope he has a long and successful career with us.

Re: Seb Ross re-signs 2016

As a few have already mentioned on here.....he needs to work on his tank. Runs out of steam when chasing an opponent far too often, so if he can improve that part of his game, he will be a much better player for it.

For a kid that's been off the park more than he's been on it, that's one hell of a deal for someone that's only played 3 AFL games.......hopefully he can repay the faith shown in him!!

Re: Pierce Signs Extension..

I wonder what the reasoning is for only extending Pierce's contract until the end of 2015. Surely they could have given the kid a lot more of an extension to his contact than that if they really rate him as a future St Kilda ruckman/forward. I don't know, maybe they prefer to wait and see how much h...

Re: 2014 List Management - Draft & Trade Discussion

If we're not going to trade pick 1 to get that extra pick inside 21 that they want, then brace yourself for another surprise like last year (McEvoy/Dal Santo). I'm not saying this will happen, but with Jason Holmes showing some steady improvement at Sandy, plus the fact that he was close to getting ...

Re: Contracts. Sam Fisher, one year.

So happy that he's playing at least one more year. They could have very easily delisted him given his age and the horror year he had with injuries, so hopefully he can repay the faith in keeping him on the books......players of his class don't come around that often so they're worth hanging on to fo...

Trading pick No.1 for two early selections would appear the Saints' best chance of securing three picks inside No.21.

Re: Milera asks to return to SA

If you can't break into a side that's sitting on the bottom of the ladder, then what hope do you have? Sounds like he'd rather be playing back home in SA where he would probably be earning more money in the SANFL, than playing out his days at Sandy wondering whether or not he'd ever get another gam...

Re: Come Home Luke Ball - all is forgiven ?

I doubt very much that St Kilda would be interested in picking up a 30 year old player, particularly one with constant back complaints and what not......as much as I liked Bally, regardless of how and why he left our club, he is too injury prone for my liking.

I'd have him back as long as the club is allowed to put him through tests before hand. Is he allowed to interact with a club in that manner? Not until the suspension is up. The only interaction the club can have is by providing welfare services. Didn't I read somewhere they have obtained (or at lea...

Be great to have at least one more win this year just so the great man can sing the song one more time.

Best chance to win one would probably be against the Dogs or Tigers you would think. A win against the Dogs would be ideal because it would be his last home game at Etihad.
