There are two things here that affected the crowd:

1. Fremantle is rarely a team that you would consider a must see team.
2. They had none of their supporters there.

Even Essendon had a very average crowd against Fremantle. Such is life I guess.

Heath Black wanted to go home? All the way to Oakleigh! You may recall he is a Victorian and went to Freo from the Oakleigh Chargers! His partner/wife is on record in the press as saying she had nothing to do with their return to WA and that she was made the scapegoat. She was happy to stay as she ...

Weird.

Oh well...we will take their money. Let's hope that with the new shorts sponsors and hopefully more members encouraged by the great start will mean a profit this year.

You can get an overseas account on big pond. There is a quarter by quarter review and a final match wrap up in real time. Then the game is uploaded in full within 24 hours.

Either way the place will have more names in the future...tis the nature of corporate branding being slapped on Stadiums. Colonial Stadium...Telstra Dome...Etihad Stadium...who knows what comes next??? Either way all home clubs should get a slice as it is through their branding at home games that th...

The white strip at the front is far too wide which looks ridiculous & it looks horribly distorted. I'm sure the traditional front with everything else white would have complied with the AFLs requirements. & it would've looked great! The Saints have 'dropped the ball' again on this issue IMO...

Don't forget the monumental job that Plympton and his board completed before they were succeeded by Rod and his board. When Rod took over the club was surviving but not thriving. One of his aims was to make the club thrive and be a powerhouse and yet here we are facing the same issues again when he ...

I was wondering about the Linton St bricks myself Most of those bricks sold when the club was in huge trouble financially. In reality they should be removed and transferred down to the new building. But can you see that happening? Perhaps StFid can get on his bat phone to Archie and find out?...

What, to see it demolished like Moorabbin? Good point. The AFL and the City of Kingston screwed us over that one. What a complete waste. So if the accountants have their way our strategy will now be to avoid those hideous loss making games in September. Remember the AFL keeps all of the gate takings from the finals so they are expensive. Of course one would hope that there would be bonuses from the major sponsor for increased exposu...

Another concern as listed by the auditors in the clubs finance report for 2008 is the net deficiency in assets. I presume the new training base will change that position considerably...unless the club becomes burdoned by debt during it's construction. Current cash and cash equivalent reserves were a...
