Mathew Allison

As we are talking the saints drafting performance….we drafted Matthew Allison at pick 26 in the 2020 draft 195 = 6ft 3 in my language Drafted as key forward Noted endurance Has flown under the radar to date - IMO Taller players do take longer to develop Can he…will he make an impact in 2022? What po...

Re: Pick 9/11 Prediction

Josh Gibcus - if he is still there The first 2 academy boys are midfielders So a key position young defender would cover other areas of need & provide a balanced approach to the draft 6 ft 4 & still growing. A ready made defender (apparently) would take pressure off a few other mid sized def...

Another lost for 2022 (w)

www.saints.com.au/news/1032074/smith-sidelined-for-2022 The saints have lost another young gun to its midfield with Tyanna Smith out for 2022 with a knee injury. For those who have watched a little of the SaintsW she is a hard running & wonderful mid fielder - at 19 she had already become one of...

Kosi - Those were the days

Remember it well
He was the difference that no team could answer for a while - as a ruck/forward. With Frazer, Aaron & Nick up front.

Number 21 takes a leave of absence

Seriously..... the best number 21 we had at the club in some time (Georgia Patrikios) has requested a leave of absence

Hope all goes well for Georgia. A natural & wonderful footballer

Re: Jarrod Brander

Is he more of a key defender?
Difficult to break into the west coast key defensive post with Barass, Sheppard, McGovern, Hurn, ahead of him
If Howard goes down then we will be short in numbers and short in height
Could be useful and only 22

North into Billings

Heard that North are into JB with offer of $1 million plus per year for medium term length contract
Saints have offered around $800 - $850

Would have thought the roos are a few years off playing in Sept

Jubilation & one to remember

What a night - as a saints fan we remember these ones forever Sitting in aisle 35 on level one...it was so load, rocking, jubilant. When we had a sniff it was like the crowd sensed it first & we dragged the players kicking and screaming along for the ride. Always thought the eagles would respond...

Re: Congrats Paul Hunter on round 1 debut

From the video interview he comes across as resilient, combative, believes he can succeed & maybe a little arrogant. Attributes of a good big man Hopefully like a lot of ruckman their best footy comes late 20's & early 30's when they have grown into their bodies & physically mature Finge...

From what i saw i thought he marked well on Thursday night I can recall a few times at Essendon he took strong contested marks but is kicking at goal let him down. Unlike the saints who used the hub as a positive from reading the article life at the hub for the bombers was not great. (who said footy...

Saints have 2 games in 8 days
10/9 - 18/9 (both at Gabba)
