Re: At least 16 wins to get top 4 this year
Agreed. The Port game is going to haunt us considering Port are garbage. Port aren't absolute garbage this year They are a bottom 6 side and that does not make them garbage how? Regardless of the sexy idea that they are a team on the up/improving/insert cliche happy word they still are a bottom lev...

Tommy Simpkin...impressive
Like the look of this guy. His positioning seems almost flawless and his body work was really good last night. Loved the bit of play where he held out Cordy in the goal square and allowed McEvoy to drift infront and take a relieving mark. Just seems to be a very intelligent defender. I know he only ...

Re: gilbert injury?
Having injured my back playing sport it looked the same, sciatic nerve was what they were working on. Deferred pain courses down your legs and it's hard to sit in a chair. He may have just bruised it but it really effects your mobility. I wouldn't think he will get up next week if it is. It's refer...

Why do you have to be tough and bash'n'crash to be a good player???? He doesn't have the body for it. There have been many good players over the years that have been Recievers, Front Runners or whatever other term is used. I think based on his average over all generally he's a servicable player. He...

Why Benny Mac was a better pick than Cyril...
I know so many Saints (and Hawks) fans who keep saying that if we had got Cyril instead of Benny Mac we would have won a premiership in the last 2 years. Well, I've never believed this and now I'm even more of that belief. The reason being that Cyril, while brilliant, is injury prone. Multiple hamst...

Agree with the OP. What about the contest with Daniel Wells (not the toughest player in the league) on our half forward flank. It was just the weakest attempt you could imagine to go for the ball and he just bounced off Wells far too easily. People are excusing him because he was sick, but this isn'...

An 18 year old KPP who was able to play senior footy (for Sandy) based on form and ability at the start of this year sho...

All were good, but was super impressed with Gears. He still has a bit of an issue with disposal (should have hit Roo on the chest in the last quarter instead of kicking out of bounds), but his tackling/pressure efforts were amazing across half forward and he set up a couple of goals nicely. His game...

And I have to say really surprising that the medicos wouldn't insist on a night in hospital for observation before risking a flight. But obviously they know what they are doing? Not surprising at all seeing that he wasn't concussed and there was no skeletal damage to his neck. I don't get why peopl...

Saw the slo-mo replay a few times. Looks like he definately injured the medial ligament in his ankle as well as opening up the Medial ligament in his knee. The thing that stood out to me was the way he couldn't weight bear on the knee and it appeared locked, so I get the feeling he has torn the medi...

I dont know how it could be. I am a type 2 diabetic. Diagnosed 6 years ago. Apart from sore feet at times and itchy nerve endings and general lethargy, it doesnt affect me much as long as I keep it under control. As a young fit bloke I dont see how it would affect him enough that he could;nt play a...
