Re: Locals why no permanent ban?
Agree, but only seems to happen when we get belted. Let's hope for no more beltings, therefore no more Locals

Re: Interesting comment
Can anyone confirm that Carlisle was upset at Essendon because they used him as a swingman and occasionally in the ruck? I recall reading reports that he his preferred position was down back and that he was shitey with the Dopers because they didn't play him there permanently It would be nice to th...

Having a great year IMO - when it looks like we're playing well, you can usually pinpoint it to Sav or Joey off half back providing the drive

Re: changes for this week
Essendon challenged North. Am I the only one who thinks North are pretenders? Hawks shadow of last year. I think the footy barometer is a bit off this year, hard to judge a side against another. It's as simple as judging the saints against the saints, which is like hills and valleys right now. I'm ...

Re: Where is our midfield at?
I know we say this every year - but Armo is now almost 28. His average disposals has dropped from a career high 28.4 in 2015 to 23.8 now. Armo for Prestia straight swap? Prestia perfect age for us. We then have Prestia + ~pick 6 in a strong draft to use on best available. Then we have Prestia + hop...

He also had the least TOG again, like the GWS game. I wonder if he's nursing something.

Short answer no. It's been ordinary but we'd be getting belted either waymagnifisaint wrote:What's the umpiring like. Any bearing on the result?

Cheap 2015 Merch
Just saw this on Ozbargain - not much in the way of sizing unless you're very small or very large, but maybe someone on here can pick up something on the cheap (60-90% off)

Interesting he alluded to the fact some of its in his head. Shows strong self awareness. I have faith hel'll come good I've had recurring hamstring issues and it's definitely one of those ones that plays on your mind. Can make you a bit worried to go at full pace just in case you feel that ping aga...

Love Paddy. Some of his early disposal in that video looked a bit ordinary, but can't fault 13 marks.
Did seem like he dished off to others rather than going back and slotting the goal from what you would think was in range for him.

Re: Freeman Again
By the way Richo isn't really accurately quoted. He doesn't rule out Freeman playing AFL this year like the clickbait headline said, he just says he wants Freeman to right for next year. That's what I took away from it too. It's all about expectation setting. After saying that, any senior games he ...

Until the next game we play like the Bulldogs game, at which point the haters will reappear and declare themselves correct. We are still a ways off being a serious contender but in my opinion the signs are very positive.

Re: Team v Hawks
Am I the only one who is staggered by the inclusion of Hodge into the Hawks line up? What would be the sense in rushing him back into the side 3 weeks after breaking his arm & having surgery? I could understand it if it was the GF but this is round 4 between a team who has won the last 3 flags ...
