Over the last few weeks, we have been the sleeping giants. The saints have played with 'finals intensity' over much of the year. The other teams are looking at flicking it on like a switch. We are prepared and can play like this over 4 quarters. Last time we played, an injury depleted Collingwood co...

Saints v Cats this year. I think early on in the game. I did love the frontal pressure against G. Ablett. He coughed the ball up and the saints scored. Just beautiful.

Do you really think Dempster is the right fit as a third tall forward, I think out of everyone tried, Gwilt is the better option.... Not especially, but Dempster just appears to be a lock. Not that I agree. He hasn't set the world alight since coming back and is being given every chance. As some ot...

I agree with In: Gardiner, Ball, Armo, Geary, Hudghton Outs: McEvoy, Eddy Another potential out is Dempster but he may be able to fill that 3rd tall forward option that will help to take the heat off Kosi and Roo. The other way I can think of squeezing Hudghton in is to play Blake as the 2nd ruck ag...

These stats can't be compared with the players who didn't play for the Saints today who are challenging Eddy for his spot. I would say that both Ball and Armo are certaintly capable of achieving 54% of contested possessions. Especially given the type of aggressive, in and under players that they are...

I was not at the game but the TV vision showed some very light rain in the last qtr. Players were slipping around for most of the game suggesting that there may have been rain prior to the game.

Ball IN, is a must. Ball, geary then armo but I think that they all have something to offer. I'd probably prefer Ball and Geary in for Eddy and Dempster.

I felt that Raph served the club well today. He showed great poise at times. Sure he made 1 or 2 skill errors but so did some other players. When a defender makes a skill error and it results in a goal to the opposition, they are shunned. What about a forward who misses a goal? That too is a skill e...
