Did anyone hear Ausie Jones on ABC radio re Saints gameplan?
In Perth his comments came later on in the post match summary with Stan Alves. Aussie said something along the lines of.... under Thomas players were encouraged to attack, attack at all costs - move on quickly to so Roo, Frase & Milney can't be double tagged....don't worry about the skills get b...

Do different TV coverages show different images?
Apropos of the issue of the despicable tactics of certain Swan's players taking Nick Reiwoldt's legs from under him in at least FOUR marking contests, where it is conceiveable he could suffer a serious injury from such a tactic..... I ask the question what TV vision, if there is an official complain...

I just hope the St.Kilda Football Club via the correct chanels to the AFL voice their displeasure of this tactic used on Roo last night..... it is extremely dangerous and if not outlawed some player will possibly end up with a career ending injury. Brilliant idea Loris !! I just sent off an email t...

Re: A new found respect for WA Sainters
I have spent the last week in Perth/Margaret River area and have been absolutely gobsmacked. I always knew that the sandgropers were parochial but I never in my wildest dreams expected the sort of parochialism that I have casually observed here. From TV to radio to newspapers you would be hard pres...

I love Max. I would turn for Max, I would have Max's babies if he would only service me . My worry is his hammy that tears every time he trots onto the ground. I get sick of being a back down every time he gets selected. Also he has had half a game of praccy matches about a month ago. No mat...

Great news about Setanta. I subscribe and was worried they wouldn't do AFL this year. I wrote them an email a few weeks ago, but didn't get a reply. They're hopeless on that front. Would love to meet up with fellow Sainters to watch, but I'll be in Edinburgh for the Rugby ( gggrrr) , but onto St An...

Glen Waverley boy eh st byron? Not far from my years as a child/teen. Glen Waverley was mainly market gardens in my youth. Most sundays we would ride our bikes from Ashwood (then known as Jordanville) and raid the market gardens at Glen Waverley. However, I have an iffinity with the Western Suburbs ...
