As per other thread DAL & Kosi got off but King was cited for one match but with discounts for his prior good record he remains eligible to play next weekend.

Yes, it is the same team but notice the following: Luke Ball is running more freely Jason Gram into the midfield BJ into the midfield Farren Ray into the midfield Dal Santo fitter and running out games (and seemingly dealing with taggers better - can someone who was at the game confirm this?) Joey f...

He played well. He is improving and he needs to continue to improve. He gave off a bad handpass that gifted a goal to the weagles but his kicks have depth and can deliver the ball well into the forward line. He remains a work in progress but he certainly deserves to be acknowleded for his improvement.

I think the 2009 CJ has significantly improved on the prior year's models and it may take us all a while to re-adjust. I used flinch when he went to kick to a teamate, but he executed quite a few good passes yesterday and we may all need to re-assess him in the months ahead. He should have kicked th...

What was so pleasing about Blake's great performance last night was his goal kicking. 3 set shots = 3 goals. That is remarkable for him, especially the manner in which he kicked them. He looked very positive, didn't look around to try and pass it off, but just slotted them through the middle. This h...

The funniest one I remember was in 1999, at the MCG. I had an American work colleague visiting and I wanted her to see an Aussie Rules match before she left. The only match we could see was Essendon vs. Richmond, when the Dons were near their best and Richmond was not that different to now. Anyway, w...

I want to see McEvoy played as much as everyone else but I hope they keep him away from Sandilands, as that may be one step too far, for a first up match. Play King on Sandilands at the center bounces and let McEvoy take their 2nd Ruckman. It seems like common sense to me. This team needs some fresh...

Mine is simple - a contraction of Rick McAbee. 3rd generation saint is my brother, so you have the family story from him on page 1 of this topic. Unfortunately, I live in Sydney (work in the Medical Device industry in Marketing) so I don't get to very many matches, except when I get down to Melbourn...

Like many others, I too have been wanting to see Fergs played as a forward, as that was how he was taken in the draft (AAU/18 forward). He has always been written up as having a good pair of hands and he sure as hell demonstrated that on Sunday. He is too small to be a KPP, but he is more Hamill/O'K...

Watching the Saints play the last two years would induce depression in most normal fans but even the fanatics are getting tired of being disappointed with the rubbish they have been serving up to us. Winning seems optional now and watching agoal being scored elicits no real joy from the players anym...
